Being straight about distance

Every table is designed and built by Dave in our Statham, Georgia workshop. There is no Miami showroom. If you order from Miami, you will choose your slab from photos (or visit Georgia), approve the design remotely, and receive the table by a long-distance delivery we arrange and quote for your specific order.

We do not publish delivery timelines or prices for Miami because they depend on the size and weight of the piece, the building and how the delivery is arranged. We will spell them out in your quote.

Built for Miami's climate and buildings

Miami's humidity and salt air are hard on wood that isn't prepared for them. We use kiln-dried slabs, seal every face and attach bases so the top can move with the seasons. Indoor, air-conditioned placement is strongly recommended, and for an epoxy table it matters twice over, since resin is best kept out of direct sun.

Much of Miami, from Brickell to the towers along Biscayne Bay, is high-rise living and office space. Those buildings usually require booked freight elevators and insurance paperwork, and a long top may need to be built in sections. We plan for that in the design.

Dining, conference and epoxy river tables for Miami

A river table sets an epoxy pour between two live edges; a resin table uses epoxy to fill the cracks and knots of a single slab. Either one is often just called an epoxy table. Common requests:

We will ask for building requirements (elevator size and booking, dock hours, certificate of insurance), the path to the room, and who will receive the delivery.

Delivery is a paid service, priced by distance and by the size and weight of the piece. Installation (base assembly, leveling, placement, any mounting) is quoted separately. Pickup at our Statham shop is also an option.
