Athens-area home base
Athens - home to the University of Georgia - sits in Northeast Georgia with a strong arts and design culture. Our workshop in Statham is only about 17 driving miles away, so Athens homeowners, designers, and local businesses can see slabs in person before we build.
Custom Wooden Tables / 1 of 1 Woodworker is the maker brand behind the work: Dave designs and builds one-off pieces rather than shipping catalog furniture into Clarke County.

Local Athens delivery
Delivery to the Athens area is available and quoted per order; installation is quoted separately. Because the drive is short, scheduling install around your move-in or remodel calendar is straightforward compared with longer statewide hauls.
We still confirm doorway widths, stair turns, and placement so the finished table lands where you planned it.
Showroom visit from Athens
The wood gallery at 1946 Railroad Street in Statham (inside Dave's Appliance & Home) is a short trip from Athens. Call (706) 614-7806 to walk the slab inventory with Dave and talk finishes for kitchens, dining rooms, and offices.
Nearby Winder is also part of this Northeast Georgia corridor - including commercial work such as the Akins Ford conference table case study.
River table, resin table or live edge: which fits your Athens room?
Most customers ask us about one of three styles. A river table sets two live-edge slabs side by side with epoxy poured between them, clear, tinted or solid black, so the natural edges face each other like riverbanks. A resin table uses the epoxy more freely, filling the cracks, knots and voids of a single slab; many people call either one an epoxy table. A live-edge table keeps the natural edge with no resin at all.
Tell us the room, the seating and the look you want, and we will suggest slabs from the rack or our Shop page. The same styles work for dining and coffee tables, conference tables, consoles and desks. Delivery to Athens is quoted per order, and installation is quoted separately.
