Bar tops and island tops are among our most popular pieces
Custom kitchen islands, bar tops and countertops are some of the most requested work from the shop. We make one-of-a-kind tops from live-edge wood, epoxy resin and reclaimed materials, made to fit your cabinets and the way you use the space.
Past tops include a dark walnut live-edge slab on a white kitchen island and an island top with an inlaid oval G logo, set up with bar stools in the Statham showroom.
Where they go
Live-edge bar tops suit basement bars, kitchen islands, covered porches, lake-house lower levels and small commercial counters. Tell us whether the top is indoors or under a covered porch, and what sits on it, so the finish suits how it'll be used.

- Basement and home bar tops
- Countertops and serving counters
- Bar-height and counter-height tables
Measured to your cabinets
Bar and island tops are measured on site or from your cabinet drawings so the overhang, seating knee room and any sink or cooktop cutouts land in the right place. Installation, which for bar tops and islands means fitting to your cabinets on site, is quoted separately from the top.
Live-edge, resin or inlay
Keep the natural edge facing the seating side, square the edges for a cleaner kitchen, add a resin river, or inlay a logo or design like the G island top. Walnut is the most popular bar top wood, and other gallery species are available depending on the size.

Bar-height and counter-height tables
For a standalone pub or counter table, pair a slab top with a steel base. The Flowyline Design bases on our table bases page include 34–36 inch counter and 40 inch bar heights.
Planning seating and overhang
Tell us how many stools you want and whether people sit on one side or wrap around a corner. We plan the overhang on the seating side so knees fit, and we keep the top supported where there's no cabinet underneath. Send cabinet drawings or photos with measurements, and note any sink, cooktop or outlet that needs a cutout.
Price and lead time
