2,500 lb Old Growth Redwood Table

A massive old growth redwood slab — about 2,500 pounds — finished as a table on a custom X-frame metal base from the Statham workshop.
Monumental redwood, custom steel
Site gallery copy documents a massive redwood slab at about 2,500 pounds, finished with a custom X-frame metal base. Old growth redwood is among the species 1 of 1 Woodworker works with — sourced and kept in inventory at the Statham workshop alongside walnut, maple, cherry, white oak, and other slabs.
Exact finished footprint and build timeline for this specific table are not published; a commission of similar scale is planned around room access, seating, and delivery.

Clients can visit 1946 Railroad Street to review large slabs in person before locking a design. Call (706) 614-7806 to schedule, or send an inquiry with the room size and the look you want.
Solid redwood, no resin
This redwood table is a single solid slab on steel, with no resin river. If you would rather have a resin river table or an epoxy coffee table, those are built from gallery slabs too and quoted per project.
