Newnan, Coweta County and the route from Statham

Newnan is the Coweta County seat, about 40 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta on I-85. Its nickname, the City of Homes, comes from its antebellum and Victorian houses, many of them on the streets around the historic courthouse square. Older houses like these often have formal dining rooms with tall ceilings, which suit a long slab table with a traditional edge, while newer neighborhoods toward Sharpsburg and Senoia lean toward open kitchens and islands. From our shop the route is GA 316 west to I-85, through Atlanta, then I-85 south to the Newnan exits, about 94 miles by road. Moreland, Grantville and Palmetto are also close by.

River tables, epoxy tables and live-edge tables for Newnan

There are three main styles to choose from. In a river table, two boards are set with their live edges facing each other and the gap between them is filled with a pour of epoxy. A resin table starts from a single slab and lets the epoxy fill its cracks and knots, or sets a burl in a colored pour. Both get called an epoxy table. If you would rather see only wood, a live-edge top with no resin is the third option.

The same choices apply to a long dining table, a coffee table or a boardroom top. You can visit the Statham gallery to see the slabs, or work from photos if the trip from Newnan doesn't suit you. We quote delivery for each order and quote installation separately.
