Milton's horse country in north Fulton

Milton, at the northern tip of Fulton County, incorporated in 2006 and has kept much of its rural character, with horse farms, equestrian trails and large wooded lots. The Crabapple and Birmingham crossroads are its two historic centers. Homes range from farmhouses and estate properties to newer neighborhoods near Alpharetta, and big rooms with high ceilings suit a long slab dining table or a substantial kitchen island. From Statham it is about 53 miles: GA 316 west, then across Gwinnett and Johns Creek on McGinnis Ferry Road and GA 120. Alpharetta, Roswell, Cumming and Canton are nearby.

River tables, epoxy tables and live-edge tables for Milton

There are three main styles to choose from. In a river table, two boards are set with their live edges facing each other and the gap between them is filled with a pour of epoxy. A resin table starts from a single slab and lets the epoxy fill its cracks and knots, or sets a burl in a colored pour. Both get called an epoxy table. If you would rather see only wood, a live-edge top with no resin is the third option.

The same choices apply to a long dining table, a coffee table or a boardroom top. You can visit the Statham gallery to see the slabs, or work from photos if the trip from Milton doesn't suit you. We quote delivery for each order and quote installation separately.
