Kennesaw Mountain, KSU and north Cobb
Kennesaw is in north Cobb County along I-75, beside Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, whose trails draw hikers all year. Kennesaw State University's main campus is here, and the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History downtown houses the General, the engine from the 1862 Great Locomotive Chase. Neighborhoods run from older ranch houses near downtown to newer subdivisions toward Acworth and Town Center, with plenty of open-plan kitchens that suit an island or a long table. From Statham the drive is GA 316 and I-85 to I-285, then north on I-75, about 69 miles. Marietta, Acworth and Woodstock are close by.
River table, resin table or live edge: which fits your Kennesaw room?
Most customers ask us about one of three styles. A river table sets two live-edge slabs side by side with epoxy poured between them, clear, tinted or solid black, so the natural edges face each other like riverbanks. A resin table uses the epoxy more freely, filling the cracks, knots and voids of a single slab; many people call either one an epoxy table. A live-edge table keeps the natural edge with no resin at all.
Tell us the room, the seating and the look you want, and we will suggest slabs from the rack or our Shop page. The same styles work for dining and coffee tables, conference tables, consoles and desks. Delivery to Kennesaw is quoted per order, and installation is quoted separately.
