Douglasville, I-20 and Sweetwater Creek

Douglasville is the Douglas County seat, strung along I-20 west of Atlanta, with its historic downtown on the old railroad line. Sweetwater Creek State Park, where the ruins of the New Manchester textile mill stand beside the creek, is on the county's east side, and the Chattahoochee River forms part of the county's southeastern border. Neighborhoods range from older ranch houses near downtown to large newer subdivisions to the south and west. From Statham the drive is GA 316 and I-85 toward Atlanta, I-285 around the west side, then I-20 west, about 79 miles. Lithia Springs, Villa Rica and Austell are all close by.

Pieces for Douglasville are built by hand at our shop in Statham. Meet the woodworker in Statham, GA.

River table, resin table or live edge: which fits your Douglasville room?

The names overlap, so here is how we use them. An epoxy table is any top where resin is part of the design. A river table is the best-known version: a channel of clear, tinted or black epoxy running between two live edges. A resin table uses the epoxy to fill natural cracks and voids in one slab, which keeps the grain front and center. A plain live-edge table has no resin at all.

Tell us the room, the seating and the look you want, and we will suggest slabs from the rack or our Shop page. The same styles work for dining and coffee tables, conference tables, consoles and desks. Delivery to Douglasville is quoted per order, and installation is quoted separately.
