Conyers, the Horse Park and Rockdale County

Conyers is the Rockdale County seat on I-20 east of Atlanta. The Georgia International Horse Park hosted equestrian and mountain bike events at the 1996 Olympics, and the Monastery of the Holy Spirit, a Trappist monastery founded in 1944, sits in the countryside south of town. Olde Town Conyers, along the railroad downtown, keeps its older storefronts. Housing ranges from established neighborhoods near downtown to newer subdivisions on the county's edges. The route from our shop is about 37 miles and needs no interstate: south on GA 11 to Monroe, then west on GA 138 into Conyers. Covington, Lithonia and Stockbridge are nearby.

River tables, epoxy tables and live-edge tables for Conyers

There are three main styles to choose from. In a river table, two boards are set with their live edges facing each other and the gap between them is filled with a pour of epoxy. A resin table starts from a single slab and lets the epoxy fill its cracks and knots, or sets a burl in a colored pour. Both get called an epoxy table. If you would rather see only wood, a live-edge top with no resin is the third option.

The same choices apply to a long dining table, a coffee table or a boardroom top. You can visit the Statham gallery to see the slabs, or work from photos if the trip from Conyers doesn't suit you. We quote delivery for each order and quote installation separately.
