Canton, the Etowah River and Cherokee County

Canton is the Cherokee County seat, built along the Etowah River where I-575 meets GA 20. The old Canton Cotton Mills buildings downtown have been converted to lofts, and the streets around the courthouse have houses from the late 1800s and early 1900s. North of town the land climbs toward Ball Ground and the mountains, and Lake Allatoona sits to the southwest. Larger rural lots and newer subdivisions around Canton leave room for long dining tables and kitchen islands. The routed drive from our shop is about 66 miles: GA 316 west, then across north Fulton on GA 120 and GA 140 into Cherokee County. Holly Springs, Jasper and Woodstock are nearby.

Epoxy table styles for Canton homes and offices

There are three main styles to choose from. In a river table, two boards are set with their live edges facing each other and the gap between them is filled with a pour of epoxy. A resin table starts from a single slab and lets the epoxy fill its cracks and knots, or sets a burl in a colored pour. Both get called an epoxy table. If you would rather see only wood, a live-edge top with no resin is the third option.

Any of these can be a dining table, coffee table, conference table or console. Pick the slab in person at our Statham wood gallery or from photos on our Shop page, then send your room size and seating through the quote form. Delivery is quoted per order; installation is quoted separately.
